The controller of your personal data is TD24 Sp. z o.o., ul. Świętokrzyska 30/63, 00-116 Warsaw, Poland, NIP (tax identification number) 5252867505, KRS 0000907499, REGON 389276255. True Detective is the English-language website of the TD24 detective agency.

2. Contact about your data

In all matters concerning the processing of your personal data you can contact us at: kontakt@detektywtd24.pl.

3. What data we collect and why

This website has no contact form and no user accounts. We only receive the data you give us yourself when you get in touch with us:

  • your name, phone number or e-mail address, if you call us or send us a message,
  • information about your case that you choose to share with us so that we can assess it.

We process this data to reply to your enquiry, to present an offer and, if you decide to work with us, to conclude and perform a contract.

4. Legal basis

We process your data on the basis of:

  • Article 6(1)(b) GDPR, to the extent necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract and to perform a contract,
  • Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, to reply to your enquiry and to establish, pursue or defend legal claims, which is our legitimate interest,
  • Article 6(1)(c) GDPR, where processing is required by law (for example accounting and tax regulations).

5. Cookies, local storage and analytics

This website does not set any cookies. If you switch between the light and the dark theme, your choice is saved in the local storage of your browser. It stays on your device and is not sent to us.

To count visits we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not store cookies in your browser and does not build a user profile. It only collects aggregate data about visits, such as the number of page views, the type of device and the country. If we ever introduce tools that require cookies, we will update this policy and ask for your consent first.

6. Who we share data with

We do not sell your data or share it for marketing purposes. We may pass it on to providers whose services we use to run our business, such as an accounting office, a hosting provider or an e-mail provider, only to the extent necessary to provide those services and on the basis of data processing agreements. We may also disclose data to public authorities where the law requires it.

The website is delivered through Cloudflare, Inc. (101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA), which provides hosting, a content delivery network (CDN), protection against attacks and visit statistics. Each time you open the site, Cloudflare processes your IP address and the technical data of the request (for example the browser type and the address visited) in order to deliver the page and protect it against abuse. The data may be transferred to the United States. The transfer is based on the European Commission adequacy decision for the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, in which Cloudflare participates. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in keeping the website running and secure (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

The website contains links to other sites, including our Polish website, a partner website and our social media profiles. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for how they process data.

7. How long we keep data

We keep the data connected with your enquiry for as long as it takes to reply and, where relevant, to present an offer. Data connected with a contract is kept for the duration of the contract and for the period required by law (including tax and accounting regulations) or needed to establish, pursue or defend claims.

8. Your rights

In connection with the processing of your personal data you have the right to:

  • access your data and receive a copy of it,
  • have your data rectified,
  • have your data erased,
  • restrict the processing,
  • data portability,
  • object to the processing,
  • lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych, ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw, Poland).

To exercise your rights, contact us at: kontakt@detektywtd24.pl.

9. Providing data

Providing your data is voluntary, but it is necessary for us to reply to your enquiry or to conclude a contract. Without it we will not be able to present an offer.

10. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated, for example when the scope of the data we process changes or when we introduce new tools. The current version is always available on this page together with its effective date.
